Do you have the systems and policies in place to attract ideal candidates? Here is a checklist to find out.
- Have you decided what attraction success looks like and put targets and measures in place?
- Does your employer value proposition make it clear what sets you apart as an from other similar businesses?
- As the starting point of every recruitment campaign is your organisation routinely creating a persona.
- Are you offering salaries that are on par with your competitors?
- Does your organisation have a policy on what incentives to routinely offer if the likely ideal candidate will be from out-of-area?
- Is the relevant line manager for a vacant position routinely being included as the contact person on the job description and job advertisement?
- Is your business branding up to date and appealing?
- Do you have a website? And if yes, is your website up to date and have interesting content including images and videos of current staff?
- Do you have a business page on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram?
If you answered NO to any of these, you might have more work to.
